Emoya means "in the wind" in isiXhosa. That feeling when stress and tension lift away, carried off by the breeze.
It begins with Pilates. With the quiet, powerful work of building strength, restoring mobility and learning to move with intention.
But it does not end there. When movement becomes a practice and a practice becomes a community, something else begins to happen. We find our breath, we find our tribe, and we start to feel lighter. In body and in mind.

The Emoya Stories circles create the space to tell it - monthly gatherings, online and in person, where breath and sharing weave together in a space made not for doing, but for being. No agenda, no performance. Just an open, held space where you can breathe, reconnect, and find your voice among your tribe. Come to listen. Come to be heard. Come to remember who you are.

Our Immersive Days are designed to meet you where you are - whether you come for the Pilates, for the circle, or for the magic that happens when the two weave together. Move your body, share your story, or do both. Alongside Pilates practice that nourishes from the inside out, our circles create a held, safe space for storytelling, sharing, and finding your voice among your tribe. Because sometimes the most transformative movement isn’t just physical.

Emoya grew from a deeply personal journey with chronic back pain, a decade of transformative Pilates practice, and an unshakeable belief that when we move, breathe and gather together, something quietly powerful happens.
Here you will find classical Pilates rooted in real experience, retreats designed to nourish body and mind, and women's circles where stories are shared, voices are found and tribe is built. This is not just a studio. It is a space to breathe, move and belong. And it was made for you.
